Cubs’, White Sox’ Facebook pages hacked
Major League Baseball officials Thursday were investigating the hacking of a number of team Facebook accounts, including the Cubs and White Sox, where inappropriate content was posted in the afternoon. Other teams that had to delete content were the New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, Washington Nationals, Miami Marlins and San Diego Padres. A Cubs spokesman said MLB officials were conducting an investigation into the matter but no one had been identified as responsible.
